Bad day for me today, Im wondering does anyone else out there experience palpitations prior to or during an attack?

Not sure what you mean by heart palpitations, but if you mean your heart would beat about half as fast and twice as hard, ya. Before I started taking Imitrex and other meds, I would try to abort a hit by taking a hot (and I mean hot) shower. Quite often it would help, but sometimes I would get heart palps. Also, I would get out of the shower and wrap myself in a blanket, and sometimes I would get them then, also. But other than that, no.

I have, but I believe it's from the anxiety created during a CH hit. Prednisone seems to also cause this for me.
