Not as a sympton or side effect of CH. In the summer time when the air gets really dry out here, I can blow my nose and start a bleed that'll take half an hour to stop! It's gone as far as ice packs and direct pressure to stem the flow. (yuck)!

Some who use the masks for their oxygen delivery find it dries their sinuses out and can result in nose bleeds. If that's a problem you can use a mouth piece instead of the bag to breathe out of.

Hey,

I do, sadly. I get a sharp stabbing pain in the front of my forehead and then a nosebleed will spontaneously start. These will happen irregularly over my cycle whilst my headaches stick to their predictable rhythm.

it confused my diagnosis in the beginning as i was sent for blood tests and given NSAIDs.

Sad to say now that I get incredibly paranoid and worried everytime I get a nosebleed.

No CH related nose bleeds for me that I can tell.  I have had nose bleeds occassionally for most of my life, especially when in dry climates.

On my occassional bleeder (I have been cauterized twice in the past) I now walk across the street, pick a few leaves of Yarrow (Achillea millefolium) out of my neighbors lawn, chew it up (poultice) and insert wet, chewed leaves into said nose bleed.  Gone within several minutes.  Yarrow worked wonders for the Greek army, works great for my nose.  I have a friend who planted it as soon as he had kids so he would have plenty on hand for all the scrapes and gushers.
