Does anyone get a bloody eye?
Mar 18th, 2010 at 4:18pm

I have a bloody eye on my CH side and was wondering if anyone eles had this happen.  There is a pool of blood on the side and kind of behind the eye and it burns and of course the pressure and all the other CH fun stuff.  I get blood shot eyes, but not bloody. And my blood pressure is low, so I don't know.  Plus I have a major migraine on top of it. Any one else.....Thanks! Undecided

Doctor - go. Now. Not normal.

Bloodshot is normal but you hemorrhaged somewhere back there, it's likely minor but you need to have it looked at.

That is what my DH said too, but I was stubborn and did not go. I get so tired of going to the doctor.  It did eventually dry up and go away. It still itches and burns and of course the normal I want to pull my eye out CH pressure but it is okay.  I will keep an eye on it and if it happens again I will call my doc and go in.  I just saw the eye doc a few weeks ago and everything was A-okay. But I know things can change.  Thank you for the response.

I have noticed that my red eye seems to be a different shape, that it seems bloated on one side, making it almost impossible sometimes to wear my contact lenses. I am a woman whose vision is 20/900 so you can guess what part vanity plays here. The good thing is that the domestic violence shelter where I live got me some brand new glasses to wear and they don't look as scary as my old ones. Most of the time I want to wear my contacts and sunglasses because I think seeing my red eye can be traumatic for the others here, especially children, because it may remind them of their mother getting beaten or something. Sorry I digress, but does anyone else's red eye seem to change shape? I do see it in the contact when I take it out. Weird!

I have had the eye droop now since the last week of dec. when this all started. My eye was very painful to touch, irritated , bloodshot and weepy for several weeks. The last 2 days my lower lid is extremely sore and painful to touch with swelling under my eye. Now what the heck is going on? Don't know if I should see my PC or go to an ophthamologist. I too am so tired of going to the doc and not getting answers. So Frustrated!

No 'blood eye' here, but my red eye in photos is yellow on my cluster side.
