This is especially true when you are first developing CH: Variation in pain type/degree/location/time--virtually all the features of CH--are often fluid. It may take months to years before a very stable picture emerges for you.

I had never thought about this, but i only have CH since like 3 years now.

Is there really some sort of "development" in CH?

What will the future bring, i mean, will i get it worse then i have it now? More cycles? Longer cycles?

What to expect?

There is no profit in pondering these questions. They only lead to fear and dispair.  You need to treat where you are with what works for now.  Don't let yourself get caught up looking down the road.  No one can tell you where this leads.

The liklihood of you getting significantly worse is just about as good as the liklihood that this is your last cycle.  You  can't know.  So why waste your time dwelling on it.

Make what accomodations for CH you need to.  But most important, live your life.  Do it for you.  Do if for those that love you.

Where there is life, there is hope.
Where there is Oxygen, you must use proper caution.
So be safe, don't smoke while using O2. Kill the pain and not yourself.

I think Dennis nailed that one on the spot.  Ditto on that.

Dennis--thank you, thank you, thank you!!

It is no accident that tranquilizers are one of the largest classes of meds sold in this country.

We worry, brood, demand that our lives be what we want them to be, bitch at people who don't accommodate our wishes--and then wonder why we suffer from various forms of anxiety.

Learning how to cope with what is: a critical survival skill for CH-ers.

just one advise from my own experience that you might find helpful in the future

Do not give up your life's what's there beautiful and necessary, in times of great pain and anxiety due to this in an attempt to seek solitude for finding strength..ch is  also there too.

i mean there is a trap here
if giving up,ch will also give up
I know it sounds stupid
but i falled in this
so just have it in the back of your mind for what is worth

as for your question
it's random and morphs all the time
nothing here to expect
pf wishes
