Gotta tell ya this. Vit D-3
Oct 15th, 2009 at 6:52pm

Hey...I went to town today, and was having a low kip headache .. Tried the O2, but it didn't help this time.

I stoped  into the local health food store, and was getting some Taurine, and Kudzu.  While waiting, I looked over and saw the Vitamin D-3 sitting there, and after reading Neils post about the CH cure today, I thought ....what the heck..so I bought a bottle.

Went on my way, (still with that nagging headache, just a bit more than a shadow )
While at the red light, I opened the bottle, and got one out.... The bottle said they were lemon flavored.
WHY..when you just swallow ..would they be lemon flavor?   so I read the bottle.  It said to hold it under your tongue, let it dissolve.  OK.
To my surprise, within 5 minutes, my HA  was GONE!
Don't know for sure if it was that,  but I can't say how happy I was to get rid of that HA...especially while driving, with several more stops to make.

So I just thought I would share this, and if it helps any one else ,,,Hurrah!

The stuff I got is made by  Solaray.
Vitamin D-3  2000 IU.
Fresh lemon flavor lozenges with xylitol

the web site on the bottle is...www.nutraceutical.com
   It cost $9.59 per 60

Just had to share this,   I shall try it again next HA.

Like I said...Can't be sure it was that...but it's worth checking out. eh!
Let me know what you think. Smiley     lorac

CH according to Bejeeber:

Strictly relying on doctors for CH treatment is often a prescription that will keep you in a whole lot of PAIN. Doctors are WAY behind in many respects, and they are usually completely unaware of the benefits of high flow 100% O2.

There are lots of effective treatments documented at this site. Take matters into your own hands, learn as much as you can here and at clusterbusters.com, put it into practice, then tell this CH beast Jeebs said hello right before you bash him so hard with a swift uppercut knockout punch that his stupid horns go flinging right off.

I'd try that followed by a Sardine & red onion sandwich. Wink

According to the Dr I work for Vitamin D is a lot more important than we used to think....Its kind of like the "new" C....She is now advising all of us in the office to take about 4 to 5000 units    per day to support our immune system during the flu season. She said to take 50,000 units for 3 days then back down to 5000.  Wild huh?  I know there are toxic levels, but apparently we can have more than what used to be accepted with good results.  So....with all thats going around after a very very long cluster cycle for me
(16 weeks), I'm happy to be building my body up.

Love and prayers to you all,
Karen

I'll take your love, but please don't pray to me. Pray to someone who can do something about it. Wink

How long did the headache stay gone until you got your next one?

Stayed gone till 11:30 pm...ususall time for hit.

the afternoon hit was about 2:00.  and my 5:00 hit was really mild too.

Had another this morn, at 8:am...and tried the D-3 again....It did kill it, although it was a very mild one.

I will keep ya'll posted,    I plan on trying this on several.

I tried it this morning. Didn't work at all.

I'll keep trying though. I've got a $10 bottle full of D-3.

Brew...when I did it the second time, it took forever...then I remembered  the first time, I actually chewed it a little, then put under my toungue.
second time I didn't, and then remembered, so did chew it up a little. and it did work.

Who knows might be a fluke or something....but I am going to keep trying it. Cheesy Wink Smiley

This could just be coincidental but it's known that sunlight is one of the best ways of getting vitamin D & I live in an area where sunlight is in abundance, if we get a cloud everyone runs for cover in case the sky falls in. Shocked
It may just be that this "D" coupled with  the magnesium/calcium, taurine I am taking is responsible for the lengthy break I am having.

Food for thought.
Cheers

Ya...according to karens post, you can take quite a bit, so maybe next time I'll take two.
and chomp em up a bit before they go under the tounge.
And I did kill one again last night at 5pm...but it came back at 7pm.   O2 killed it in no time.
Then never woke up with the 11:30pm hit. Smiley

Feeling pretty good now  Smiley  hope it keeps up!

Tried twice again. Still nothing. Had to scramble for the O2 (and I hate doing that - O2 can be worthless in high cycle, especially if you get at it too late).

I'm abandoning this one.

Sorry to hear that Brew... I have been worried about you suffering more for it.

BUT..It continues to work for me.  Smiley  Just shows how different we all are.
I took two D3 this time, and same result...took the HA away within 5 minutes.  Can't explain it.
but I also take calcium, magnesium, zinc, and the D.

I am on low dose of Verapamil, and am trying to get off of it, so I hope this will help with that.   Smiley
