I like that show, but I missed that one...what exactly did he say about it?

That was kind of a sad description wasn't it?

I have not watched the whole video yet but he highlighted the eye part and said there was tearing of the eye, running of the nose and irritation on that side. Irritation? I would say it was more than that!

The migraines sound more like clusters except with the photo-sensitivity and nausea which I get anyways.

Good to be recognized but I so wish they would do more!

Thanks Chris.
Very disappointing the way CH's were described. This doc needs some education on CH's.
I wish at this point he didn't say any thing at all about them. Smiley

ya...my sister called me ...she watched it.
she called to tell me that all I had to do is rub some peppermint on my head!!!!
Kind of disapointing, because of all my family, I thought she was the one that understood it.

OH WELL.

I just went to the site and left him a message - wondered why he didn't address clusters as the 'suicide' headaches they are known as - he has after all, said this is the show where he will talk about what no one else wants to.

It appears there are not enough of us in this world who get CH.  Migraines are obviously more common and the research and medicine centers around that.  Dr. Oz's brief description was right, however he neglected to add which headache is the "worst" or most intense.  All they need to do on those talk shows is show Chuck's youtube video.  That alone should educate the intensity of this unbearable pain.

Maybe one day a person with wealth or somebody famous will get thess CH and kick some money into research.  We can only hope.

Exactly.  We should all send him an email and maybe then he'll be better educated to discuss them.  No one else to speak for us, but us, unfortunately.
