Anything just laying around????
Apr 15th, 2009 at 7:49am

No insurance and only have one trex injection left, I've been using the Kud-Zu again nothing yet, getting hit 3 to 4 times a day and about 4 times a night, had a few kip 3's & 4's but a lot of 8's and 9's, can't stand it, I think I'm getting to old for this sh@*, it's amazing how one can forget how bad that beast can be.

Welding O2 doesn't require a prescription and it's downright cheap. I wasn't handling the high level hits so good, so I did something about it - whole new world out there......

Hey Marc,

Long time no chat, I do plan on trying the 02 again working on it as I speak, it didn't work for me last time and I'm afraid it might not this time, just trying to be prepaired. I'm scared as hell to have nothing if you know what I mean.

I think we enjoy our pain free time so much that when the beast returns we understandably forget how much the F***er hurts..!

I'm not from your side of the Atlantic so I have no problems securing meds for free but from listening to Marc and the rest welders 02 seems to be a cheaper alternative.

I know you've had no success in the past with 02 but I've read that increasing the LPM has had success for many. Get a regulator fitted that allows you to get the max from your 02(Some have gone as high as 60lpm) Whatever it takes to beat the beast....!

Hope it works for you this time. Wink

Norm,

Something you might want to give a shot at is to chug a Red Bull (or other similar energy drink with caffine and taurine) at onset.  Just as soon as you feel the first twinge.

Many people have has success at least in keeping the kip level low and short duration, and in some cases people report a full on abort.

There is a generic Red Bull at ALDI stores, and it's well worth the investment.  I keep some on hand at all times, even though I'm  virtually pain free at this point.

Worth a shot brother!

Norm, sorry the beast found you again.  That REALLY sucks!

Before you try the oxygen again, read the information behind the tab, on the left side of your screen, oxygen info and you will see we have come a long way, since you last used it.

MANY, that oxygen did not work for, in the past, are getting GREAT results by using it at the higher flow rates of 25LPM and even higher.  The higher flow rate, plus the O2PTIMASKTM have improved the effectiveness immensely!

Give it a shot!

CAUTION:  Do NOT smoke when using or around oxygen.  Oxygen can permeate your clothing or bedding.  Wait, before lighting cigarette or flame.

Keep fire extinguisher available, and charged.

OK so I just went and bought a green welders 02 tank and have it in my garage, I do not have a regulator yet or a mask, can I just breath it out of the tank until these items arrive?????????

You could try it , but I'd wager there would be too much air mixed.  100% consentrated oxygen is what is needed.

This is built into the human psyche. If it wasn't, women would only have one child max and the species would have died out long ago.
