CH goes away with time??

I have seen it written that eventually cluster headaches simply stop when you get old.  Has anyone actually known of someone for whom this was true?  Do they actually go away eventually?  I have had them for 24 years and I am 68 and would like to think that in my future, what there is of it, I could live a somewhat normal life.

They do....and they don't. Sad

Many people have had them stop in their 40's, 50's and 60's. Others are older then dirt and still getting hit. Bob posted a link many moons ago comparing the chances of them stopping based on when they started and whether you were chronic or episodic.

So continue to live your life between the hits and be like me. Assume every remission is the final one and they're never coming back. Optimism spanning over 30 years of the damned things! Wink

"Somebody had to say it" is usually a piss poor excuse to be mean.
