RC seeds follow up
Feb 26th, 2009 at 11:37am

Don't mean to beat this subject to death.........but I am determined to give the seeds every chance.

Dosed 1st time a wk ago - 8 seeds (obviously not enough)-dosed again last night with 20 seeds. I had no effect-bad or good. Actually had an especially bad night with clusters last night.

Questions:
1 Plan to dose one more time in 5 days using 30 seeds - is that an ok dose to finally see if it will help me or not?

2 Have been soaking seeds (which have been ground in coffee grinder) for 2 hrs in 3 oz distilled water, eating light meal 2 hrs before dosing (as suggested in faq in Clusterbusters) - then drinking the water with the seeds, ingesting the floating particles and the sludge.

Is there anything with this routine that should be altered - maybe not eating so close to dosing?

3 Am I correct that sometimes there is almost instannt relief, and for others relief is delayed a few days?

4. One other thing, I have not taken any cluster meds for 3 wks, but have continued Avapro for blood pressure and Lipitor, and baby aspirin.

All suggestions and thoughts will be appreciated.

Joe, i'm no expert, but it seems you're on the right track.  I did 25 seeds my first dose, then 65 on my second and two weeks ago I took 85.  I definitely felt something on the 85 dose.   No LSD or shroom trip, but a slight body buzz.  That is how I know they worked and weren't duds.

I crushed them with a mortal and pestal which sucks, then I soaked it in white wine for 1 hour and that's all I needed to know that they were doing something.

I'm currently in remission and doing doses as an experiment/monthly maintenance.  My last cycle was August of '08 and I usually get a cycle in Feburary and nothing has happened so i'm close to saying that these seeds are working for me.  If I get a complete year painless, i'll be convinced that this natural remedy works.  Then I can say bye-bye to pharmaceutical drugs like sumatriptan.  We all know however that the beast can change course and that's always in the back of my mind.

To conclude, i'm thinking your doses need to be increased.  I would read clusterbusters site though in full detail.  That's where I learned everything.

Good luck!

Are you getting results?  I'm not sure how the weight/seed ratio works, but if it
is a factor, I can only hope they're working for you.

Definately sounds like you need to try a bigger dose. 30 is about the average minimum needed to see results. its always best to start with smaller doses as you've done though.

Sounds like a plan. You don't need to eat beforehand. The two hours again is about a minimum time span. More time might help a bit so that you're not digesting anything else while you're dosing.
2 hours in water is more than enough.

3 Am I correct that sometimes there is almost instannt relief, and for others relief is delayed a few days?

yeah, everyone is a little different. You should notice some effects ont he cycle pretty quickly though, if the dose is large enough and all the seeds are "active", menaing they contain the LSA molecules. Tests show that there is a wide range from seed to seed sometimes.
If you feel nothing at all from a 30 seed dose, it could be that your seeds aren't very strong.

4. One other thing, I have not taken any cluster meds for 3 wks, but have continued Avapro for blood pressure and Lipitor, and baby aspirin.

These shouldn't have much of a negative effect if anything at all. You'll be able to tell if this will work for you while on these meds.

best of luck...
keep us posted,
Bob

Joe W, sounds right to me.

I ordered my seeds from I Am Shaman. I emailed them pretty regularly to make sure I received a really fresh batch, as I read online that the seeds might lose potency with time and improper storage.

The first dose I took was eight seeds, exactly in the manner you described. I really felt the effects as outlined on Clusterbusters, mild hallucinations, some sense of panic, and then severe nausea.

No immediate improvement, but in a week the CH tapered off!

In about a month I had to repeat, and this time I strained the water through a coffee filter and drank only the water (not the "sludge"). I also chased it with a multi-vitamin. This time I felt almost no side effects, but in a week the CH did taper off.

I have had to increase the amount of seeds I use, now up to about 20. Not sure if they are losing potency, or if I'm getting "immune" to them, or what.

Hope this helps a little.
