Thanks for sharing. Now that we know CH is Hypothalamus-related it brings tears to my eye (no pun intended) to think of all the vaso-constrictors (triptans) we used in the past when the medical community treated CH in the same manner as MIGRAINE. I have used Verapamil for 10+ years now and use some minimal dosage everyday even when not in cycle. It has PROLONGED the remission period, reduced the CYCLES, and moderated the PEAKS (peak cycle) for me. I highly recommend a high-fiber diet though  Wink I have been on this board since it was created and have sufferred CH for nearly 25 years and verapamil has been the ONLY preventative that has worked for me - just ratchet up the dosage if a cycle is imminent.
