Well, the thing is, the best prophylactic varies from person to person.

There isn't just one prophylactic that works for everyone, unfortunately. So, what may be the best one for you, may be the worst one for another person. Some people also are drug resistant, on top of that...

As far as I'm concerned, cluster busting has been the best treatment I've tried. No migraines since I started it, and my hits have gotten so much better. Wanna know more?

No question lithium is the best preventative God ever put on this earth!  Wink Needless to say, it's the one that works for me. Doesn't work as well for others, doesn't work at all for some. That's the problem with this condition, what works for some is useless for others. Takes a little bit of patience at first, working with your doc to find a med or combo of meds that will get the beast under control. Well worth the effort if you're fortunate enough to find a solid prevent.
