How does it end?
Feb 15th, 2009 at 9:10pm

The first time was 4 yrs ago. I had only full blown attacks , once a evening every 1-3 days. They just vanished. This time they started that way in early Dec. but have since changed. Now I have numerous attacks day and night w/varying kip levels, shadows, long ones ,short ones, every kind there is. Ocassionally a day w/none, thinking its ending only to have more than ever the next day. How does it finally end? Is there a signal its ending or that its over or do you not know until you go a while pf?

Seems to be different for everyone. Some abruptly stop. Mine gradually come in, build up, then cycle down and out. If I'm pain free for 2 weeks I do the beer test. If CH is gone, I have no problem. If not, a beer will hit me with a CH within 20 minutes. Good luck.

FWIW, mine invariably ramp up pretty quickly, peak for a couple of weeks, and then gradually become less frequent and less intense until they fade away.

YMMV.

Best,

Mine just stop. That's the best way I can put it.
I do hope that yours will end soon and you can let us know how it was for you.

Before this cycle, I'd get the worst hit ever, K10... and have shadows for at least a week and they'd just fade away. This cycle seems kind of different though, especially due to the abortives I'm using. I think it varies between all people.

Praying for PF days...

I wish someone would tell me.  Normally by this point after starting my verapamil I would see some relief in site, but it seems like the beast just wants to hang around a little longer.

This has been 6wks of sheer agony.

I guess I will know it has ended when it ends.
