I'm not sure if I have cluster headaches or not. All I know is the last 2 years I've had different types of migraines. Pain is ALWAYS in my rt cheek really bad and comes and goes for about 3 days. Had sinuses checked out...nothing wrong there. Nothing wrong w/ my eye. Its not really a knife stabing pain, but it is very painful.  Shocked

No question getting the correct diagnosis can be a real battle. Especially if you have overlapping headaches.

Getting to a neuro who specializes in headaches can go a long way to a speedier diagnosis. If you're not already keeping a headache journal, do so. Make it as detailed as you possibly can. Your final diagnosis will usually be found in the little details. Hoping you get a decent diagnosis and a good treatment regimen soon. Headaches suck!!!!! If it does turn out to be CH, don't lose this link!!!

"Somebody had to say it" is usually a piss poor excuse to be mean.

What Guiseppi said.

Many of us suffer from both migraines and Ch and they can and do overlap.

You need to get to a headache specialist for a proper diagnosis.  In the meantime, click on the cluster quiz button (fourth down on your left) and take the quiz.  This might help you to narrow down your symptoms.

But,  most importantly, your headache pain does need to be evaluated by a specialist.

Please feel free to ash any questions you might have and we'll try to help you as much as we can.
