Seems like.
Feb 5th, 2009 at 5:18pm

I've gone 3 days and nights without a hit. Haven't used any O2 or sumatriptan but I have kept to 520 mg of verapamil a day.

Tried a small bottle of beer tonight over a long period of time. A flicker of a shadow and then nothing.

Seems like this cycle is coming to an end.

This one was like all the others. Different.

I got caught out a few times and had to tough it out on a few kip 9s and 10s. The worst time was whilst I was at work and walking down the street holding myself together and trying not to sceam out. One foot in front of the other. hate those times in particular.

This time I was badly stuffed up and took a short dose of prednisilone which made me feel normal when I was on it and very weird when I wasn't. Used lots of O2 and used a lot of suma in the darkest peaks of pain and dragging my sleep deprived body and mind around.

Friends and colleagues tell me I look better.

Seems like this is the end of this one. Thanks to everyone who said nice things when I needed it and offered advice which I heeded.
i just want all of you who are still hurting to follow me out of the pain. So wish it could be done that way.

xxxxxxxx

Everyone does a happy dance when anyone beats the beast! Smiley

Hoping the remission lasts an eternity.

Yee-ha!
*shoots his big guns empty in the air*

As Joe stated, it makes us cheerful whenever someone is coming out of the woods. We all hate this monster, and therefor care for anyone under it's spell.
Continue being painfree for a long time now, Ellick, you understand me? That's an order  Wink!

Regards, Pascal.

Thanks all for the encouraging words.

Seems like has changed to definite. No hits at all now for 10 days. I do still have some strong shadows in the mornings and my head feels very strange (no surprise there) most afternoons. I have begun to wean off verapermil down from 560 to 480.

I'll be sticking around on here.

Hope all of you in cycle or chronic are following down my road right now.

Ellick.
