Sorry for the break..... Melissa and I went to western NC to look at a horse this weekend and just got back now....

YES, I got some Oxygen !!!

However, none of the med supply folks around here had a non-rebreather mask and nobody had a 15 L/min regulator available either. So I have a tank and a tube and an 8 L/min regulator presently.

Right now, I am on 30 mg Prednisone, and that has the beast stopped in his tracks for the moment...and has since Friday night. I am good through the end of the week and I need to get my Oxygen figured out by then because I'm sure I am NOT done with the beast just yet.

Jason, Glad to hear you're getting the break. The med supply place should be able to get both in a matter of a couple of days. I had the same problem with the NRB mask here in Mich. this summer. I answered you in your other post, but will repeat it here.

In a pinch cut the nose canula off the hose. Yes.. Stick the hose in your mouth close tightly around it this has given others enough O2 to abort CH hits. No kidding it works. 8lpm isn't the best amount but it is better than none, just may take a little longer. In older days that was it.

I just came off Prednisone and it does help me but when I come off the CH is back. Some people it will knock it out though that is rare.

Good Luck, Don

Sorry you are having trouble gettint the right setup.  BUT at least you have the oxygen!

Here is an example of what is available, in 15LPM regulator, on eBay:
Multimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login or Register

Presently there are not any 25LPM regulators on eBay.

As far as a mask, you can't buy any better mask, than the one listed at Linde's ad, under the oxygen info tab, on the left side of your screen.  It is $25.00 well spent!

Let me know if you need anymore help!

CAUTION:  Do NOT smoke when using or around oxygen.  Oxygen can permeate your clothing or bedding.  Wait, before lighting cigarette or flame.

Keep fire extinguisher available, and charged.

Are you sure you are not married to me?

I am spending YOUR money for you, like a wife!!! LOL

I am glad you are getting set up properly!!

Let me know if you find you need a 25 LPM regulator, I will try to find one for you, if you do.
