Sorry to hear you guys having a crappy Christmas. Although I was near pain free, right after a wonderful Christmas meal with my wife, Daughter and her boyfriend, I got a phone call.

It was my mentally challenged brother saying " I need your help, Dad's car has a flat." He lives with my Father. I said, put the spare on. " I can't get the tire out of the trunk." Unbelievable the guy is 50 years old. So I say give me a few to put my suit on and I'll be there. It's 14* out.

I get there and have to beat the large wing nut off the device holding the tire down, easy enough. But now the doughnut tire is actually frozen to the bottom of the trunk, and I have no tool to pry it out. 1/2 hour later we get it out. Then the jack won't fit under, so I go get my floor jack.

OK almost there, now there's one lug nut that is an antitheft device that you need a special adaptor to get it off and my Dad is great for moving things around so we couldn't find it. 20 minutes later we find it. So a half hour tire change took just under 2 hours. CRAP, CRAP, CRAP, CRAP, CRAP, CRAP. , Don

Hey Don,

I'm glad you got er fixed. My sister-in-law is a pretty dim bulb like that also.

A friend of mine had the same experience with the lug lock. I asked him why he didn’t keep the key in the glove box and he said that he didn’t want anyone to be able to break the window and get the lug key! I replied a lot of good that way of thinking will do you on the expressway with a flat…

Thanks Roland, it just gets to me when my brother really is physically capable of doing something like that himself but mentally he's not.

He did go to special ed. until he dropped out in 9th grade. He has always been babied by my parents so he never learned to handle anything.

All that being out in the cold and bending over did bring on some shadows for me but the O2 took care of that quick. So I had new tires put on Dads car today and that's no longer a worry.

I went 4 days with nothing more than a shadow. Best Christmas present I could ever get. I did have a light one last night but it was easy to abort. 02 baby. Holy uncrap to all and to all an uncrappy night. Yes I am thanking the shrooms.
Hope this holds. Hope the kitchen cabinets make it through the pred taper your doing. Cheesy

Brian, that made my head feel better just reading that. LOL. But now I have to go to Outback Steakhouse to satisfy the craving you started.

Did a chocolate test yesterday and it was a failure, it caused shadows all evening. I can have small amounts in like a couple cookies and it doesn't bother me. A chocolate bar is too much.

After eating the chocolate we went to the Casino (MGM) in Detroit, 30 miles from home. That is when the shadows began, K-2-3. These were handled by my breathing techniqe and half a pill from the wife and O2.

Carl, an old Clusterhead like me would put that Nascar tire on backwards trying to be that fast!!

Roland, what mgs do they have you on?

Methylprednisolone, 4 mg pill. Taper from 6-1 in 6 days.. It’s for my neck and it aint helping my neck or my CH. I quit doing pred tapers 2 yrs ago because they don’t do $hit for the CH no more. The roid rage and the not being able to sleep on top of it is very frustrating to sayyyyy the least. Especially with no relief, I’m doing it to satisfy the Nero, and do what I have to so he will do my disability paperwork…

Been an incredibly crappy few weeks. Thank goodness we made no Christmas plans (my fam is down in AL and Gary's mom is in Chicago).

I think the depakote is making things worse. Activity is through the ceiling - and it was already bad. Gary had to redefine K10 last weekend. Activity has been so bad he hasn't been able to work. He can barely read at this point, and cannot concentrate at all.

It's really crappy.

No one deserves this crap.
