Title: D3 Dosage - A Question for Batch Post by Traveller on Jun 12th, 2014 at 2:13am
I have been reviewing (lightly, not in great detail) the general literature about D3 dosages. It is fair to say that there is some concern in the medical community (by no means universal) that the doses of D3 you recommend are not healthy. Among the specific concerns are calcification of veins over time.
In reading most all of the major D3 threads I don't see any discussion of the risks. Don't you think this is worthy of some mention? |

Been on this regiment for over a year. Been taking 20k IU for most of that time, sometimes dropping down to 15k. In that whole time, my D3 level has never been above 111 ng/ml. No where near toxic - most of my docs say its completely safe. So yeah, not dangerous as long as you keep up on your blood work, every 3-4 months.

TJ,
Bravo Zulu!!!, (BZ), to you my friend... Well Done... That's a military statement of excellence for rest of you... You've broken the code!!! Keeping the vitamin D3 intake high enough to keep our 25(OH)D3 serum concentration in the therapeutic range near 60 to 100 ng/mL is all it takes to keep us pain free of CH... Thank you again for all the support. V/R, Batch |
