So my mom in her infinite doctor contacts got an email from an ENT in Boston that said a deviated Septum or Bonespur could cause things similar to cluster.
I do have a deviated septum that deviates to the right (the same side as my attacks), but the symptoms of ContactPH related to nasal issues (IE burning in the nostril) doesn't happen before these headaches.
And as usual with cluster headaches, they come at the same time every day, which Contact Point Headaches don't do.

Would it be worth getting in contact with my ENT (who took my bone spur out this summer) to see what he thinks and to check if a Septum correction is worth it?
Anyone have luck with nasal straining surgery in fixing your headaches?

also found in some research that Sluder's Neuralgia is another name for CH?

Just my opinion... but if a person truly has CH... no amount of cutting yourself open is going to fix it. On the other hand... if you don't have CH... well that is why getting a good headache specialist is critical. You could have CH and sinus problems... but you need someone capable of telling the difference. To date, I don't remember you talking about any doctors I would even go to much less consider anything they say (evaluated solely on treatment offered).

The objective was to formulate distinctive criteria to substantiate our opinion that Sluder's neuralgia and cluster headache are two different clinical entities. A systematic review was carried out of all available, original literature on Sluder's neuralgia. Pain characteristics, periodicity and associated signs and symptoms were studied and listed according to frequency of appearance. Eleven articles on Sluder's neuralgia were evaluated. Several differences between Sluder's neuralgia and cluster headache became evident. Based on described symptoms, new criteria for Sluder's neuralgia could be formulated. Sluder's neuralgia and cluster headache could possibly be regarded as two different headache syndromes, and Sluder's neuralgia could be a trigeminal autonomic cephalalgia.

I can recall over many years quite a few people here who got started with this same procedure first, but ended up here anyway.

Why don't you put this question out as a separate post to get their attention, entitled something like: Ever had deviated septum surgery?   

If the oxygen, verapamil, and Imitrex are helping, I would doubt they are recommended for a headache from a deviated septum.  However, I wouldn't know if you might have that problem, but I don't think I've ever seen a post saying deviated septum surgery cured my cluster-like symptoms.

So I basically confirmed my theory that all of these doctors are seeing what they want to see. I went to a Physciatrist today for meds managment with anxiety (I've had this appointment for six months) and he was like "well if they rule out neurological issues I'm seeing a conversion disorder or PTSD without a severe trauma."

I mean I plan on getting my septum fixed before I age out because of potential problems, but I don't want to just let a surgeon hack away at my nose in hopes that it will stop my cluster like headaches.

You go to a dentist... it will be your teeth.
A good headache specialist will go through everything... eliminating and/or confirming everything else.

Good point.  Many had teeth pulled first as a solution to their headaches, the trigeminal nerve reaches down that far, then appeared on this site still with clusters.

The point being: many disorders can mimic or have symptoms of other, quite different problems. It makes diagnosis difficult, scaling up to impossible, at times.

And all that does is confound the problems which arise because we simply don't know about the "whys" of some problems and, in the case of Cluster, because the level of education in headache disorders is so meager for docs in med school.
