That's exactly why it's recommended to get a diagnosis from a headache specialist. There are so many different type of headaches....and so many causes....

Whooligun, I hope you're doing okay and coping okay with your new diagnosis.  Your post prompted me to do a bit of wiki-ing on AVMs--seems like another diagnosis where the docs aren't sure yet what the best treatment is in many cases.  Your CH preparations will come in handy here!
