Title: I just want a break... please!!!!!!!!! :'(
Post by dv8r_dragon on May 21st, 2012 at 10:32am
Normally a 2-4am cycle...currently 9 am...

I finally made plans to do something today, it waits....hunting, preying on my plans. The beast attacks! It waits and pounces on the few good moments in an attempt to break me... Why!?

It's Not enough for me suffer this chronic condition. Just when I thought it was safe to make one plan...one... :'(

All I can do is fight and try again another day...still alive and kicking!

Love and Gratitude! Stay PF my friends!

Cuz it's a playful lil beastie, that's why. But I know what you mean. Just when it's most inconvenient and all that. Keep on fightin' the good fight. blessings. lance

I hear ya!

Do what I do! Pretend like you don't have any plans, that way you'll confuse The Beast so it will attack when nothing is going on and leave your real plans alone!  ;)

If only it were that simple! GRRR!!!

I'm behind you in the same boat, rowing my *ss off too, dv8r!  I get back at the beast by living it up between the hits, even if "between" is literally 20 minutes.

I broke a molar last night in the throes of my 3 am hit (clenching my teeth maybe?).  It was bad enough that when I showed it to a macho coworker, he almost cried like a baby.  I laughed.  If CH has given us nothing else good, at least it's made us into tough SOBs.

Feel free to curse.  Cleanses the soul.  ;)

:-) you all are so awesome! Still no break but it has eased up a bit. I bought my energy drinks and went to battle. Although I have not yet prevailed, I still have a lot of fight in me....thanx to all of you!

Love and Gratitude<3 Stay PF my friends!

Sometimes I wonder if there's really something behind this "when it's the least convenient" like when I get a bit tense and ooooh i have to get this done tomorrow then it hits. Maybe a stress thing? Like maybe it triggers on very low key stress as well ?

Stress seems to be linked as a trigger for many people, although as usual with CH it's far from simple. For some people high levels of stress are a trigger and yet for others a reduction in stress is a trigger. For myself, this results in a lot more CHs on a weekend than during the working week.
