I can't find the thread now, but Jayne was always good for a laugh.  The one i remember the most is about her and a new boyfriend.  She didn't want to spoil a good thing by telling him about her CH and in the middle of the night she gets hit..goes into her closet in the bedroom to suck on her 02 as quietly as she could when all of a sudden she hears his voice at the closet door asking what in the world is she doing in there in the middle of the night?  She says the first thing that came to her mind and in a tiny voice with her British accent, says.."I'm re-arrangeing me shoes"

Oh, thank you so much.  I have had a very depressing week and this just made me laugh.  Thanks, I think I will be ok now.

Don here (seaworthy), tried adding a dimension to Clusterville and pioneered the first Facebook-like site, but since we all type with our hands, he called it Handbook.  Nifty name, except all his friends here posted pictures of their middle finger to him.  It didn't catch on, but he's still proud of all the warmth and support from Clusterville for his endeavor.

Then there's the night in Nashville that Jayne stayed with Donna D and I... Donna D SNORES and Jayne couldn't sleep so she takes her pillow and goes to the bathtub... then the faucet starts dripping (and she can still hear DD snoring). By morning she's in a total dither... I wake up (did I mention I can sleep thru anything) and she's screaming at DD and I'm sitting there laughing my rear off...

For some reason she "chose" not to stay with us the next night..

But she did get even with DD. We went shopping and went thru the "self-check" lane. We put in cash and got change. When the change came out Jayne started jumping up and down yelling at the top of her lungs "I won, I WON!" DD slunk out to the car and refused to go anywhere else with either of us.  :-*

Speaking of OUCH conventions..There is always Vancouver.  Our dear friend Riccardo who didn't speak English too clearly was able to attend from Italy with 3 other Italian ch-ers.  Margi set up a clusterhead game of golf at a local course.  Riccardo and his friends had never played golf before so on the last hole with all of us watching..he hit a long drive.  Not on the fairway but towards some guys who on the driving range and almost hittting several of them.  Poor bob Pahlow jumped up and ran over to them, apologizing profusely for our Italian friend who didn't understand the game.

At the same game in the beginning..Elaine was playing very badly, never hittting the ball more than a few feet.  When she got hit..DJ took over for her and we heard her say as she was rushing for the 02.."I've never been so happy to be getting hit as right now"

DJ made a Birdie that day. ;)

And the "famous" BEER RUN in Atlanta...

For those who weren't there... Jonny went out for beer (we ran out) and DJ was waiting patiently for him to return. Well, about the time he got back, he got hit, so he went to his room (with the beer) and refused to open the door.

That wouldn't have been too bad, except several "beer drinkers" stood in the hall most of the night banging on his door yelling for him to just put the damn beer outside...

How do I know this.... because I was just down the hall and they kept the whole floor awake most of the night... fortunately most of us were CHers so we were up anyhow..

But we NEVEr let Jonny go for beer again..

And remember the RED hypo fountain pens that were in the goody bags.. there was a family reunion going on during our convention and we could clean out the bar (for our privacy) real quick by just pulling out of ball point pens and ..... well you can imagine what we did with them... The family reunion stayed pretty much away from us most of the time... ;D
