Grandchildren are very special gifts... even more so at Christmas when they're twins...  They're the kind of gifts that all too frequently keep on giving...  and giving...   

Lots of love and affection...  Always hungry for food and knowledge...  They stand there wide-eyed at the wonderment of insight when they've learned something new and exciting...

Then their little nuclear reactors kick into max output and they start flying around the house at transonic speeds bouncing off the walls and smashing into each other like high energy particles at the Large Hadron Collider...

Oh, Batch!  How cute and I'm absolutely with you!  We had our two daughters, two sons-in-law and our three grandchildren here for three days.  The two granddaughters are going on four, and the grandson is 2 months old.  Absolute mayhem with the girls - the noise was at times overwhelming, and then throw in the baby's "regularity" of crying with hunger, diapers, hunger, diapers - you get my drift.  When they all left, we looked at each other and cherished the silence - then we both took naps!

It was a wonderful Christmas, but I have duct tape on my shopping list already for next visit!
