Title: O2 today
Post by GennaG on Sep 8th, 2011 at 11:15am
The Oxygen is on da way hey!  The appt went well and I would recommend this doc to anyone for anything.  He was great.  Picked up on a couple of other issues I may need to explore once the clusterbuggers are at bay.  I can only have 6 injections a month of the preventative he prescribed me because of my insurance company.  He wants me to consider another treatment but frankly both of those have me kinda freaked out. One goes up my behind :o and the other is a shot in my head.  :-[ I don't care for the sound of either option but he tells me they both work better than what he gave me and I can change my mind at my next appt after I've thought about it.  Hopefully with o2  :)I won't need weirder options.  GG

GG!!!! I'm so happy for you!!!!!!   O2 has changed my life.  I'm ecstatic that you are getting yours!

Please look into purchasing an O2ptimask from the CH.com store.  It makes o2 even more beneficial.

Jeannie

She's no doubt talking about a supository like Caffergot.   At least that's what I hope she's talking about.  lol

Hmmm...that would be a unique, new and exciting way to use oxygen! ;D

My guess is the cafergot suppositories...if so..that's VERY old school. My hope is with the 02, you'll never need to explore that option. As to the insurance company limiting your injections...yeah...a very common problem. Read this link:

START PRINTPAGEMultimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login or RegisterEND PRINTPAGE

It'll show you how to get up to 3 aborts from each stat injection. With the oxygen, I've eliminated my trex use except for emergencies. Hope it does the same for you. So excited you finally have one of the most effective tools against the beast. [smiley=shore.gif].......Joe doin the happy dance for ya!

:o :o :o :o :o.....DITTO

1)...Your doc can call your ins. co. and get them to up the qty. (mine did this a long time ago...no problem)

2)...as far as those 2-other options...are you sure that you are comfortable with this doc

wishing you nothing but the best.....Lenny

That's supposed to be a one-way street.

Wow these tanks don't last long.  The first one only lasted 30 minutes total.  GG

You need an H tank to sit next to your bed. That will last you a couple of weeks. Get a couple of E tanks to keep in your car when you go out in case you need to run to the car when you feel one coming on. I also kept a couple of E tanks at my office.

I will ask the medical supplier.  Thanks for advice.  He told me it would run 45-55 minutes but I time myself and I used it 3 times for 10 minutes.
