It was one of the main reasons I got off verapamil - I called it the anti-Viagra.

I first tried Verapamil in my mid 20's...I was at a much lower dose so it had no beneficial affect on my CH....but even at that "young virile" age it left Elvis  sound asleep on many occasions...if you get my drift. >:( Like CH isn't bad enough you take THAT away from me too!

I've been using Lithium as my prevent for many many yeras, I'm 51 now. At 1200 mg a day it blocks 60-70% of my attacks, with very little in the way of side effects. You pee a lot the first few weeks while your body gets used to it.....it is a salt after all. Some people get tremors in their hands, I have not yet. Certainly worth talking to your doc.

anthony - I know you've tried your hand at busting. DO NOT - under any circumstances - bust while on lithium. It has drastically intensified the psychedelic effects in some people.

No problems here, on 480 mg/day for the last three weeks and 240 mg/day for the three weeks prior to that.

Consider yourself fortunate then.

Yes fortunate b/c I'm 40 and I had the issue. As well as getting hit right after taking it. All this after taking it for years with n o adverse effects whatsoever.
