Welcome from Kentucky Steve.

If you have read anything at all yet around here, then you know that telling us your story, how many Docs have you seen, when you were finally diagnosed, what you have tried, what meds have worked, what meds have not.....is mandatory.   ;)

I said all that with tongue in cheek of course but most newcomers to the site do that so we can answer any questions, give them hope when they seem lost and just generally suck them into the family that this site is.  You are now a member of it.  We'd just like to get to know you.

My name is Linda.  I've been chronic for 23 years. 02 is my friend.. along with almost everyone on this board.   :)

hey linda,

If the only doctors you've ever encountered were f*cksticks, then I can understand your viewpoint. There are some really good ones out there - ones who are committed to the relief of pain and the return of wellness.

I'm not sure if there are any in your area, but I'd keep looking if I were you.

Hey Steve,

I have a similar view of doctors, they really are generally idiots when it comes to CH, but if you can get to an actual headache specialist, one of those might be able to do something for you.

I sure hope St. John's Wort somehow works for you, but I'm sorry, we just haven't seen reports here of it being effective.

There is a medicinal plant that has been delivering some crushing knock out blows to the o'l beastie for some people around here and at clusterbusters.com. Not that easy to get though for some of us.

Here's a video about it:

I hope you can at least get some O2 on hand for back up.
