Just saw my wonderful neurologist for the last time...she is leaving the university for even bigger and better things.  But, I got a script for Imitrex vials and some needles for a year.  She told me to start stock piling it.  I got an O2 from her a month ago.  I just have to get them and learn how to use them before my next cycle, which shouldn't be before August.  I am still hesitant about them both, but I'm going to try and be brave about that...instead of brave about the pain, which I have endured too much of in the past.

Did your neuro give you a referral to a colleage and your records so you don't have to start from scratch with someone you have to "train"? If not I'd just ask for that Joni.

Yes, she wrote a long letter of instructions and info to my internist, who is also great, for the transition time.  But she also gave me the name of another neurologist she likes.  I can also still go to her PA who she has trained for the last several years if needed.  I have a followup appointment with her (the PA) in August just to stay in touch.  I haven't done anything else yet.  When school is out, I'll be able to think better and have more time.  :)  Thanks!!!
