Title: Well I'm not going to stop them all... Post by Skyhawk5 on May 22nd, 2010 at 5:28pm
Woke up yesterday to a K-7 that quickly ramped to K-9-10. After fighting wakeups all night this one got away. 1 1/2 hours full blown.
Had to switch O2 tanks as it ramped up and my DHE shot was across the room. Now I'm shaking bad and dropped the shot twice before I could load it while shaking. I was so late it only kept me at K-9. Believe me the shot will never be far from me again. Don |

Oh Don, I'm so sorry to hear that.
Yes, those lessons are brutal, aren't they. Kinda like not paying attention and running out of e-tanks on a fri. night and having to wait til Monday when the 02 supplier opened up. |

Oh man I remember the days when Joe only got 1 tank at a time. I feel so much more secure with the 8-pack in the garage at all times...

Thanks everyone. Well it goes on, a this evening I had a real Kip-10 for 2+hrs. Came on quick right after supper, suprised me. See my Neuro today, he thought I was leaving the cycle, NOT.
I've done so well for 5 mnths and now the ugly part. One thing I failed to do was go full blast on the O2, and the DHE failed to touch it, I don't know if anything can, in 22 yrs no perfect abort, O2 is the closest. OK Don stop venting. Prayers and vibes to all, we do survive... PS: Kristy I have 1 M-tank and 9 E's, said they couldn't give another M, I'm getting a welding for extra comfort. |

Just came out of the "afterburn", 40+ hrs of spiking pain and no sleep, usually only happens once a cycle, but it sure sucks. The only meds that will touch it are steroids and Prednisone seems to garuntee more big hits for me.
Thanks for all your words, it does help knowing you are here. Check this out, I had a 2:00 Neuro appt. yesterday, I left an hour early to get the backup O2, the wife meets me at the Doc's and he's gone home sick. Damn. Don |

Thanks Jimi, the last couple days have been good, 2 nites of sleep in a row, good sign. I finally got the Neuro to switch me to reg release verap, and give me Zyprexa to try.
I have big hope that last week was the peak and I'll be in good shape for the convention. Looking forward to seeing everyone. Don |
