I am having zero luck with my neuro here in NYC. She refuses to prescribe O2, actually said to me, "Oxygen therapy does not work"... she makes me feel like i am making this up... very unsympathetic ... and not very much help so far. I have been seeing her for two months now and really dont feel like much progress has been made. I have excellent insurance and want to take advantage of it.

-So I was wondering if someone could recommend a specialist or a competent neuro in the NYC area.

DR lawrence newman is excellent in nyc!!! I dont have his info with me at the moment but look him up! he is one of the guru's!!

It was the nuero running the Montefiore Headache center that properly diagnosed me. Seymour Solomon was his name, but he may be retired.

Dr Naik at the Summit Medical Group in berkeley heights, nj (about 25 miles west of holland tunnel). She gave me my O2 script no problem.

I live on long Island and drive an hour to Stamford to see Dr. Sheftell at New England Center for Headache.

He's a world class Dr. and human being.

He loves clusterheads!
