This is a little rant thread I am afraid and I apologise in advance, but I am finding it very difficult to deal with CH and all of my other symptoms on a daily basis.

For the past 6 months I have shadows frequently and worse CH type pain which lasts now 5-20 minutes (before it was 20-30 minutes), facial pain and migraine type constant pain and I am finding my vision is being really effected. I have auras daily with double vision and ringing in my ears which feels like it is all just getting worse. I am feeling confused and as if my short term memory is becoming worse.

From what I read on here and also based on my neuro saying 'that is unusual for CH cycles' I am feeling rather detatched from it all because I do not feel in control anymore. Thankfully I have an emergency appointment on Thursday with my neuro.

What meds are you on?  This could be affecting you. Just a thought.

Are you using O2?

Sorry for my moan.

I have been told I may have an infection in my spinal fluid or extra pressure in my head, so they think my CH aren't the 'problem' at the moment. I am now waiting for a phone call so I can be admitted into hospital for at least a week for a LP, further tests and apparently a high dose of valium for a few days.

I am on Verapamil 240mg a day and O2 when I need it. I haven't noticed change in the CH with the Verapamil really but have done so with the O2.
