Title: O2 border crossing?
Post by Skullcrusher on Oct 26th, 2009 at 10:41am
Thursday we will be going to Cleveland Ohio for a hockey tournament for my oldest son. I will be away from home for 3-4 days and have no intention on leaving my O2 behind. Taking Imitrex across the border doesn't bother me but I'm not sure if I will have problems with the oxygen tank? Any ideas?

I don't think you should have any problem, but I did a search of prohibited items and came up with this.

Hope this helps.

I've been denied entry to Canada with my O2, but haven't had any problems from Canada to the US.  If you do take it, check with the border you cross at to make sure you can get back in.

It was not long after 9/11 when I was denied, things may have been altered for awhile because of the attacks.  A quick call to the border you intend to cross at will be able to answer for sure.
