Title: I'm smarter now than I used to be!!!
Post by BarbaraD on Oct 20th, 2009 at 7:40am
Hey, a new study just came out and it says that OLDER people who suff the internet get smarter. Ok so I haven't learned (yet) how to put the little "blue" thingys in here, but that' s what the darn article said.

So I'll be surfing and googleling a lot so I'll be smarter and smarter. Just think - all you younguns, in a few years, can say you knew me when I was a dumb OLD broard. ;)

Maybe Al Gore knew what he was doing when he invented the Internet (ok, that one was just too good to pass up! :))

Hugs BD :-*

Catching a wave is googly curving one way and swerving back another.

I was trying to get smart, getting caught in some inter-fishnet using this wingtip dial-up though.  I'll catch up.

You couldn't be more right Barb.

I am not sure what constitutes "older", but....
Since the inet, I can simply Google something and I get all kinda info. on it.
I used to collect Russian military rifles.  Very little was written about them.
Since the inet, I have met actual experts on the subject, learned a ton of stuff and what each is worth fair market value.

I've met so many kool people from all over the world and learned about where they live.

To me, the inet is one of the single greatest inventions since the microchip...which has revolutionized modern life as we know it.

Cheers, Dave

I used to wander in the world of medical ignorance.  Very little was written about ch.

Since the inet, I have met actual experts on the subject, learned a ton of stuff and what works.

I've met so many kool people from all over the world and learned about how they deal with the beast.

To me, ch.com  is one of the single greatest inventions since the microchip...which has revolutionized modern life as we know it.

Best,

I know how you feel Barb but I'm not as sharp as you are. Like you though, I recognize BS more quickly than before. I guess that's half the battle. START PRINTPAGEMultimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login or RegisterEND PRINTPAGE

Good luck kid.

Why you are sharp, Barb.  I see it was Internet Day on the calender you sent me.  You were just seeing if I was paying attention.    ;)

But that was yesterday.

Ok. I'll go stand in the corner.
