Yes! Charge them as adults.
We have this ridiculous and outdated legislation called the Young Offenders Act. Their names can not be published, their faces can't be shown. They can perpetrate the most vile of crimes and only recieve a slap on the wrist by the bleeding hearts who say rehabilitation is the path to follow. Makes me puke! |

I can't help but wonder if people like this are beyond rehabilitation. Reading that all but one were still laughing later........ makes me feel that their brains are just wired in such way to make them a permanent danger to society.
If the kids were half their age, it would be easy to believe that they had no real grasp of the seriousness. At 15, they sure as heck do. Marc |

Something shorts out on these twerps. Similar stuff happened when I was a kid. It's beyond my understanding.
Sadly, it's nothing new but cable news is. Stuff like this, if reported nationally at all, was "filtered" by time and newspapers. I miss those days. Charlie |

Glad we're not in Canada then. It showed the boys on tv this morning. They still don't know if this kid will even survive.

Stories like this sicken me, but that's life. I like having information available. When I want it, I can get it because of the web. Cable is often a few hours behind. Filtering the news is still happening as much as ever. That's why a person has to cross check sources and the web provides that. Marc |

What I usually find after seeing a cable news story, and after eating my morning raisin bagel, is so much more detailed and in depth reporting on the same stories from the next day's Buffalo News. I wish our local paper was as good. Charlie |
