No.  I don't like it.  This would be Sauger fishing on the Yellowstone river.  Thebbz is doing good as a horsecock pusher for Albertsons.

All y'all can KEEP yer flippin' COLD!!

I am LOVIN' it down here in the Sunshine state!  Yesterday it was over 100 ... Today has cooled down a bit, the cold front has moved in, and it is only in the mid 80's, but the weather channel says it feels like 90 ...

THIS is the weather for me!!!

I thought it was too full of Boston Harbor to fit anything else in it ... Besides, how do you keep the beer from floating away?

Chuckie:  You can keep the 90's and 100's.  I'm trying to bring back some of this Kansas weather with me, 30's to 40's.  I'm not sure what Delta will charge for the extra baggage, but get ready, I'm bringing as much as I can manage.

Sitting at my little desk in front of my bedroom window, watching the little flakes.

Not staying on the grass, but the cars are covered with a thin veil of white.

Damn.

I don't mind the chilly stuff but I'm about to go postal over the rain almost every day. Up here, October is supposed to be sunny and dry. It's made all the Halloween decorations a mess too. We go nuts for it here. Good for pumpkin sales though.

This morning it's 45 and gray. Buffalo has better weather this year. The debacle of game day was beautiful. The "mistake on the lake" did us proud. START PRINTPAGEMultimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login or RegisterEND PRINTPAGE

I could get used to this, REAL easily!  Maybe I DO belong in "Wrinkle City" as I am real close to being a full time "wrinkle" !!!

81 here today, pushing 90 tomorrow.

Finally getting some good rain. Had to cut down a really big pine tree in my front yard yesterday - too close to the house to let a storm bring it down. We lost a few big ones because of lack of rainfall.

It's been in the late 40's in the evenings here.  Peanut will just have to do with going across the street cause i'm not walking in this cold.

It has rained 23 out of the pastt 33 days, with 23-27 inches of rain.  According to the weatherman, we are due for at least 2 more days of average to heavy rain.

Avg. rainfall for Sept. is a little over 3 inches and for October, it's a little over 4 inches, so we're way ahead of the game.

There's a lot of flooding going on around us, but out only worry is the gravel road washing out (a shovel fixes that problem with ease).

Anyone got any spare ark supplies?

'round these parts, wide temperature swings causes people to state "everyone is gonna get sick" or variation there of. The science behind such a statement eludes me but after hearing it all my life, stating such is a habit.  ;)

Tis my understanding that wide temperature swings promote viral growth of both warm and cold climate.  Usually you get one or the other, but when you get weather temp swings it promotes both - so you get more snotty noses.

Not cold enough to cause dormancy in the warm ones and not warm enough to keep the cold ones in dormancy.   Watched a show on science channel about it, virii are really quite fascinating ya know!

Cat

eta:  my personal thoughts are that when it gets like this, people tend to gather in closer confines making transference of the virii easier, but that's just a guess.

Why do moms around the world tell kids around the world to wear a hat when it gets cold lest they get sick?

I never hear them say, "Don't wear that jacket today. It's going to be 85 degrees. You'll get sick."

Fall weather is great, I love it!
