Well, it IS bigger than Peewee Lake here in Madisonville, so I guess they are pretty happy.

The surf sure isn't what we've been used to.

That last wave looked like Malibu to me (on a slow day)  not Lake Michigan.  Are you sure you aren't pulling our chain here,  Pat.?

Ruthie...Jim and I drove through Champaine on the way to,  and from... Chicago.   Both times were in the middle of the day when I was sure you were working, or I would have called you to come out and play,  or have lunch or something.  I won't let that happen again.  I promise.  There is almost no one I would want to see more than you my dear. :-*

That wave probably caused some "shrinkage" as well as taking your breath away - it was 51 degrees with 40 mile an hour winds.  Mighty cold for a California boy . . . . .

Wow.

It makes me wonder what it must have been like on the Michigan side that day.

Oh, but it's a lake, not an ocean, one of a surrounding few of the world's largest with far reaches to strange lands in other time zones over the horizon, like Wisconsin.    ;)

Completing a round Earth, another lake spans adventurous sailing to a discovered place called Canada.

Yes, though we must navigate long journeys to beer-making going on on both sides, on the seventh day, "It is good."
