Title: Can Verapamil cause bruising?
Post by Jeannie on May 14th, 2009 at 10:28am
I've been on Verapamil before and never had a problem.  Now though, I'm noticing that my feet are bruised.  It started in the knuckles of my toes and has moved up to the tops of my feet.  It's really strange.... I don't recall injuring them in any way.

Could it be the Verap?

Thanks!

Jeannie

Jut one spot on one foot when I touch it.  Otherwise, no.   Looks real pretty though!

I've been doing a lot of gardening...... Maybe I did it that way.

I have never had bruising while on Verap, but I have had some swelling on my ankles and calves and that doughy feeling from it.

I'm noticing more bruises today in spots here and there on my legs too.... They weren't there yesterday.    Maybe I'll call the doc.

Hi Laurie! [smiley=wave.gif]

Thanks Sweetie!   The Verap is working beautifully...... I also hope it's not the cause.   If it is and I find that it's not going to do anything other than make me " colorful"... I'll stay on it .  I should be able to wean off of it in the next month or so anyway.

Nice to see you.  How are you?

Jeannie
