Hi everyone,
Just got cafergot, and I know you cant use trex with it,  but does anyone know of any other meds or herbs you cant take with it. ? I was thinking of taking kudzu, and the other meds from the synergy mix except for the st johns wort but I am not sure if they can be taken together.

Any info would be great.  thanks

I just cut and paste this here as it gives a list of meds that interact with cafergot.

Drug interactions

Do not use any of the following migraine drugs within 24 hours of this medicine: almotriptan, eletriptan, frovatriptan, naratriptan, rizatriptan, sumatriptan, or zolmitriptan. Also, do not use this drug with ergotamine (example: Ergomar); dihydroergotamine (DHE or Migranal); methysergide (Sansert); ergonovine; or methylergonovine (Methergine).

Caffeine; ergotamine may also interact with:
•antibiotics such as erythromycin, clarithromycin, and troleandomycin
•antifungal drugs like fluconazole, itraconazole, ketoconazole or voriconazole
•aprepitant
•bromocriptine
•cabergoline
•cocaine
•danazol
•ergoloid mesylates (Hydergine)
•herbal products like feverfew or guarana
•fluoxetine
•fluvoxamine
•grapefruit juice
•imatinib, STI-571
•medicines for colds, flu, or breathing difficulties
•medicines for high blood pressure
•medicines or herbal products to decrease weight or appetite
•metronidazole
•nefazodone
•nicotine
•some medications for the treatment of HIV infection or AIDS
•zileuton

Chris I've been using cafergot for years and haven't had any trouble with it. I use oxygen to abort, but I'm one of the small percentage, no matter what I do, CH comes back within 10-20 minutes of shutting off the 02.

Now I pop an oral cafergot when I fire off the 02. 02 beats it down in less then 10 minutes, cafergot will buy me up to 12 hours pain free time.

I use lithium as my prevent when on cycle and haven't had any difficulties with it interacting with the cafergot.
