Hey everyone,
Been away in remission for a while, and I foolishly thought (once again) that maybe they never would again.  WRONG!!!
  Anyway,  everytime I am in a cycle, I get these strange sensations in my nose.  Not in my head like sinus pressure, but in my actual nose, like someone is pressing on it or something. In the past I always thought it was a side effect of the prednisone I was taking,  but this time, Im not on it.  Its not painful excactly,  just very strange.  I was wondering, if anyone else ever heard of this or knows what it could be.

That would be a new one on me.......but considering all of the other"sinus" activity, I guess it shouldn't suprise me either. Sorry the bastard found you again. Wishing you a short cycle!

I think I know what you are talking about.  I have no idea what it is, but I think I have experienced it also.  Is it kind of like the beast is squeezing the bone with one finger pushing from the inside of your skull and the other finger on the outside?  It feels nothing like sinus pressure...  It is almost like the bone that is your nose is swelling.  It almost even feels heavier...like the bone is growing thicker.  Kind of like this?

Thomas, the way you describe it is quite accurate for what i feel, with the addition that it feels to me like it's loaded with electricity....
A weird thing that doesn't happen very often, but it's always a pre-cursor to a hit to follow.

Maybe that is what you mean Chris? Allthough, with CH, the probability of it being different for different people, is very high.

thanks for the good wishes, joe, and yes it does kind of feel like the bone is growing or something.  Its not a precursor to a hit for me,  it happens all day long on and off.  But when I started feeling that in  my nose, about two weeks ago, I knew bad times were coming, and sure enough, here they are.   fun, fun, fun. :( :( :( :( :'( :'( :'(

I get these too Chris.  I describe it as a hot/cold pressure in my nose on the left side.  Very strange and it is hard to explain.

I know what you mean, it feels like a cross beween someone is pinching the bridge of your nose and you have been hit in the nose a couple days ago. Very strange feeling
