its almost 1am here. havent eaten much in a couple days 4+ kip 8's a day. took 3 20mg nasal imitrex to abort...now out. TERRIFIED of going to sleep. I feel as if the prescribed meds PLUS otc pain meds are chewin my stomach up. Trying to keep the humidity at 40-50%. Trying to find that "majic" temp setting. I have a constant shadow just enough to let me know its still there...waiting. My CH began only 4 days ago and already this bad? Im going to batten down the hatches now. got some wet rags on standby and coffee. I also feel a bit twitchy- i feel as if the trex is interupting my SSRI (PAXIL). Somebody out there pray for me :'(

First step is to get back to your doc!!

Second, you're discovering that the Imitrex pill is not best for CH--too slow acting for most folks.

Third, is the Paxil for the CH? If so, suggests you're doc is not the specialist you need.

Kimmie, I'm sorry the beast is back.  I'll be praying for ya.

In the mean time, you need to get some better abort plans in place.  Sometimes what worked last cycle doesn't work so well this cycle.  

I'm sorry I don't remember from last time, but have you tried Oxygen?  It works really well for me when I get on it quick and use it correctly.

Never used the O2 Dennis. I havent had a cycle in over a year until this one. The paxil is not for CH, it is for anxiety. I did eat a half of a burger and a couple fries on my way to CVS this morning...(in my jammies). My ears are ringing? odd? I've never really noticed that before. Hands are still kinda shakey. Ever had these symptoms while in cycle ?

I will pray for you. we understand your pain.

just you shall immediately go to the doctor and use the preventive medicines like prednisolone ( I recommend) , while may be imitrex is not effective for you , and if you can stop it for 24 hours and then use and test the Ergotamine , with O2 together, to abort the attacks.
for my case also the imitrex was not effective as ergotamine.
