Title: Why I'm thankful for ch Post by Ppattya on Nov 25th, 2008 at 8:32pm
1. I never have to cut onions again.
2. I always have a reason to leave family reunions. 3. For binding my husband and I together. 4. For strengthing my relationship with the Lord. 5. For giving me a reason to quit smoking. 6. For giving me a reason to never drink. 7. I never have to put gas in the car. 8. I always have an energy drink waiting just for me. 9. for a way to meet new people 10. for making me a stronger person thought this would make a good thanksgiving tread.... I will try to add more later ::) :P |

That's an awesome list. I'll think about how to add some things to this string later!

1. I always wanted to be a pirate. Now I have a legitimate reason to wear an eyepatch without people thinking I'm silly!

I'm thankful for CH because it lead me to this board where I found some of my closest friends. With those thanks given the beast has worn out its welcome and it's time for him to go away forever!!!!!

I think Joe's answer goes well with my thinking too. That and I'll never become an alcoholic since one drink = a CH within one hour.
I love you guys! Ray |

I love that list! :) I'm gonna use that number 1 the next time someone asks me to go near onion... ;)
I agree on many things on the list; my relationship with God is much stronger now, and I trust myself and my own voice much more than I did before ch. And I'm thankful for ch because it has brought a lot of wonderful people into my life right here! :) Sanna :) |

I do quite a lot of sport, so in terms of pain thresholds, people talk about being "hardcore" or "pushing through the pain", they have no idea!

O.K. I just have to ask...never having to cut onions or pump gas?
The rest, of course I understand, but these 2 have me scratching my head. LOL Linda |

Thankful for late night TV, so I have something to do while I suck O2.
Thankful my CH is not as bad as it could be. I pray for those who are in worse shape than me and ask them to keep the faith and keep trying to find something that works. Thankful there are so many treatment options. Thankful for my Neuro who works so hard to help me. Thankful for my wife who asks me every morning how my night was. Thankful for all the wonderful people here that have helped my more than they know. |
