Title: Rough week ... Neuro Appt.
Post by dionysiusaeropagite on Nov 5th, 2008 at 7:36pm
Brothers and Sisters,

This last week has been a constant battle with the evil spirits that seek the ruin of my soul.

The Beast, along with a constant presence of his Shadow, has been prowling, seeking to ruin me.  Yesterday, especially, was a difficult battle.  More than 3 times the Beast advanced.  Arrogance is a great weakness of the Beast - he only brought out part of his armory, attacking only with K 5-7.  When one attacks over and over again with weaker weapons, damage is still done.  Along with this, the Shadow was constantly upon me, placing me in darkness.

I will finally attain some aid on Friday.  I have my first neurology appointment.

With what questions should I prepare myself to get the most out of this appointment?

Thank you all for your help.  God bless you all.

You are all in my prayers,

Seminarian Joe

Joe you are a good man but you are yet only a human god has given us weapons to fight this beast so use them.  Oxygen, Imiterx injections(abortives) and Verapamil as a preventive thats the start to your questions.  Hang in there I continue to watch your posts and always look forward to your prayers and support from above,  but for now you have my prayers and any support I can offer.
    Phil

Joe,

Good Luck with the Neuro appt. Phil has given you good advice on what to ask for. Really to tell what you need. Oxygen for 70% of us will stop 90% of our CH attacks and take away shadows too. It must be used correctely @ 10 to 15lpm's through a NON-REABREATHER mask. Nose canula's are worthless..

To get help for CH you must be your own advocate and educate youself so you can educate the Doctor if needed. Print out info from this site and take it with you. See the oxygen posts on the medications section.

Best of Luck, Prayers to You, Don

Houdy Joe,
Dont expect him to know much. You should attack this as a team. If he or she is not a team player ....dump em.
Here are some common treatments.

Read all the tabs on the left, then go to
OUCH-US.ORG and read. The best thing to do is self educate yourself on your condition and then get ready to educate them.

I told you before Joe, you have the right attitude, that's 75% of the battle, you'll do just fine!
