Title: Imitrex tablets from Mexico
Post by jmc1106 on Nov 2nd, 2008 at 5:43pm
I can remember seeing signs on nearly every pharmacy in Mexico, for Imitrex at a reasonable price. My husband uses half of a 100 mg imitrex on top of oxygen to keep from getting another hit in 2 hours...can anyone tell me if a prescription is needed? We'll be travelling in the next few months, and I thought we could pick up a supply. Insurance is stingy and only lets us have 9 pills a month. Thanks for any advice!

It really depends on where your going in Mexico,  most of the tourist areas they will ask for a rx.  If you want to pm me I can call my friend in TX that lives next to the border I know he gets imi in Mexico without an rx but I don't know where.
  Good luck,   Phil 8-)

Thank you! We'll be in Cancun, so I imagine that qualifies as touristy.  :)
