Well Bill - up until now this has been a deep dark secret, but I'm getting on up in years and feel this secret should be passed on to some of you younger kids......

These "hats" are "secretly" made by "little bitty" chusterettes in a sweatshop (in the basement of an undisclosed bath-house) up in Boston under the direction and supervision of our King Jonny to his exacting standards.

Once a year a secret society of clusterheads meets and reviews the list of those worthy to wear the hats and be protected against alien abductions. They pick those they deem worthy (from a list of application submitted to them each year), but the process is conditional on other factors.

Chuckles is then appointed to administer the TEST to the appointee. He will arrive at the appointee's place of abode at any hour day or night and begin the testing process (which I can't disclose - only to say its thorough). Should the appointee pass this test he/she will be awarded one of these sought-out tin foil hats.

I'm not "real" sure what happens if the appointee "fails" the test (there's been stories, but only rumors), but I've heard it isn't pleasant, but according to the bylaws of the secret society they are elgible to apply again (if they so choose).

So see Bill, it's easy as mom's apple pie and tennis shoes ;)
