Title: Possible onset of cluster headaches Post by Mystacole on Oct 8th, 2008 at 7:02pm
Hi everyone,
I have been going to the hospital recently trying to figure out what's going on with my body and mind. I have had blood tests, and tests for intestinal parasites and everything comes back negative. Yesterday I had what the doctors seemed to think was a panic attack, and so far they can't tell me anything conclusive. I started feeling weird about a month ago when a took a stronger doss of LSD then I'm use to and got extremely stressed out. I have been getting sharp headaches that move around my head. It's almost as if the act of thinking makes them worse. I'm worried that the LSD I took was bad from being left in my car during the heat of the day. I wonder if anyone has experienced an onset of headaches from LSD and if theres anything that has helped them. I am 21 years old and I have had headaches before as a child after I fell off a diving board 6 feet onto the concrete on my head. This is just a scary time for me and finding this website has helped ease my stress already, but I am still having headaches. I am open to any suggestions or information that you can offer. |

Uh...This is a cluster headache site.
We will be glad to help in any way we can to navigate the world of cluster headaches based on our experiences and on what the Neurologists and researchers have told us. |

I'm not a doctor, however it sounds as if you might have brain damage.... The question is whether this happened before or after you hit your head.....

Okay, first of all, have they diagnosed you with cluster headaches? If they have not, you're at the wrong place to ask questions about this... You should reveal to your doctor what happened, I think doctor-patient confidentiality may cover this.
However, if you have been diagnosed with cluster headaches, may be someone here can help you. But they need to know if that was the diagnosis, or if you're trying to self-diagnose. (The latter seems to be the assumption.) Either way, I hope your head feels better soon. |

That's nothing strange. Rather, headaches often do not show up in bloodwork, although their results, like sleep deprivation, might. Mystacole wrote on Oct 8th, 2008 at 7:02pm:
What was your panic attack like? And have you got them earlier? Do you get panic attacks regularly when you get really stressed? Or, if you have got them, have they been tied to drug use? Mystacole wrote on Oct 8th, 2008 at 7:02pm:
Stress is a common trigger for a variety of different headaches or headache syndromes. Mystacole wrote on Oct 8th, 2008 at 7:02pm:
That is a common description of a headache, but not a cluster headache. Sometimes e.g. migraines do that. And pain makes it difficult to think for all of us. Mystacole wrote on Oct 8th, 2008 at 7:02pm:
LSD is not a very stable compound in itself, but I honestly don't know how the heat might affect it. I will take this up with my chemist friend. Mystacole wrote on Oct 8th, 2008 at 7:02pm:
You had headaches before as a child after you hit your head? Did they go away? If you are really worried about the headaches, and it's not just the drugs talking, locate a neurologist specializing in headaches and tell him or her about your worries. We here cannot diagnose you, only make perhaps educated guesses. I hope I've been of help. - Best regards and PFDAN, Rosa |

Hey!
How about, don't take LSD! |

Apparently LSD transforms into iso-LSD when exposed to extended periods of heat. The iso-LSD should be biologically inactive and thus shouldn't cause headaches. Whether one day in a warm/hot car is an extended period of heat is another question.

Is this posting a "joke"? It sounds like u r still using BAD LSD...is there GOOD LSD?
I could go on and on about panic attacks (which I suffer from), and all the "hospital" visits, etc that you need more help that anyone can give here. Don't mean to be pissy, but this is a serious sight with CH suffers and supporters who are devoted to hepling, not promoting LSD. >:( PS...your headaches don't sound like CH to me. Wait for your doc's dx and tell him u think you had some bad LSD and see what he says. >:( |
