Title: I hit fifty. Post by MPMIII on Oct 8th, 2008 at 9:35am
When I showed up here a year and half ago, I thought that it was going to be a short visit. I thought that this malady would soon go away and I would get back to some sense of normalcy. Boy was I wrong. Being chronic, the beast has not left me since he showed up and I now visit this site more than any other(well..., maybe not as much as Drudge). I never really gave an intro post because I honestly thought that I would not be hanging around. So a note to the newbie's, you may be here a lot longer than you think. The support and information that exists here has made a real tough ride a little easier. Thanks to all.
Regards, Malcom |

Chuck is right -- I've been here since 98 - can't seem to stay away from this place. Get up in the morning - get coffee - come here to see what happened overnight --
But I can quit anytime I want to... Yeah right... :) Then what would Chuckles do without me to pull his chain? Hugs BD |

*lol* For us it's whenever a hit is coming or just left...it takes the pressure off knowing someone's out there too; as sucky as it is. I love it here so much!!! I post a lot just because of the relief of being able to connect...takes a lot of the psychological pressure off both of us! I love that warning sign, by the way. LMFO! |

End at 50? Mine started at 55. I've had migraines all my life, which abated in menopause, only to morph into these damn c.h.'s at 55.
As I type this I'm holding an ice pack to my right cheek... Stella |

Malcom,
I've been here since spring of 2004. I log on daily, hasn't been a day I've missed. Sometime I'm guest and just read because I don't have much to say, some days I post more than others. (STFU Chuck) ;D I've been pretty much PF for a good year and a half now, and I stay here because .... 1) this is home. 2) I help those who are seeking advice about alternative methods of treatment 3) I know a select few that would come hunt my azz down if I dissapeared. I love this family. They tend to put up with me.... ;) |

Pegg,
You're in Stevens Point? I spent some years of my youth there, and go back and forth for family stuff now. Nice to hear that we have a connection other than cluster headaches... Stella |

I've beeen on here since the old text only board back in the 90s. Then the new board, and now the new new board. I don't find it habit forming at all.
