Tornadoes everywhere!!! People dying, boy scouts being heroes (Iowa) KSU having $20 millionm in damage!

I lived at Ft Leavenworth for 2 years of my childhood. I moved all over the country growing up and I honestly remember this being my VERY least favorite place. Dry hot summers, cold winters, lots of tornados and time out for tornado drills. One of my few wonderful memories was the beautiful sunflowers that grew on the side of our house. Hang in there!!

Steph, How about this... pack your things and move to Napa valley ;) You'll only have to worry about earthquakes there hon.

There's an Air Force base near-by too.

Linda, I would love to live in Napa Valley...wine...mmmm!! ;)

The tornado sirens went off about an hour ago. We had a tornado about 10 miles south of us, too close thank you!! we have friends (military) from Georgia and the moment the sirens went off, my phone rang!! LOL Rookies!! 8-)

Al is well, just trying to see if there was actual damage. We (my family) lost our house in a tornado years ago, so I get alittle on edge! Hey Linda, you got room for a bald guy and a couple of kiddos?! ;)

I'm ready for everyone to have a dry, uneventful day 'round here!

...Texas better be dry or else!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You all are certainluy getting hit hard....been watching it on the news.
Would love to have you all in Indiana but it sucks here right now too.
We're doing OK in the far norhern part of the state but south of us is terrible!

BTW. It would be fine if you would stop sending that Wichita weather to the northeast to blast the burbs of KC.

I don't ever remember a spring like this out there. I read that it's the result of events akin to perfect storms.
