Lisa and I will get up at 5am tomorrow morning to drive to Annapolis. Tomorrow is the 4.4 Mile Great Chesapeake Bay Swim!!! She has trained so hard and is so excited. This is the biggest thing she has ever done in swimming. It's not so much where you place, but just being able to say you did it. On top of the training she raised $1525. to benefit the March of Dimes. We'll let you know the results tomorrow night. Lungs and head have been very cooperative lately. Keep your fingers crossed it continues!! Off to bed to try and get some sleep!

Great to hear this!! Good luck tomorrow, Lisa!!! I hope the lungs and head continue to behave. And a donation to March of Dimes - excellent!! Saving premature babies is always something I feel strongly about! :)

We're home and everything was great. Lisa can post a better more detailed post with pics tomorrow. I am exhausted! Too much sun, heat and nerves for one day!

She placed 175th out of 730 swimmers, all ages both male and female. Her time was 2hrs and 5 min. She placed 3rd in her age group (20-24), women. She was the 6th highest fundraiser overall for March of Dimes and was the highest college age contributor (by just $17!!) so she won the scholarship!!!

Best of all, lungs and head cooperated nicely, staying nice and calm!

Thanks for the well wishes. She read them before leaving today!

Thanks everyone!!! I just got my pictures downloaded off the camera, now I gotta get them onto photobucket, then I'll get them up here for everyone to see! It was a great day, just exhausted and busy with school for a few days afterwards!!!
