I would like to thank everyone who has offered their advice, knowledge, and tips. Thanks to all of you Mike and I have our lives back. Things aren't perfect but they are a hell of a lot better. Mike has about 5 to 10 pain free days in a row , with anywhere between 1 and 4 headache days. The best news is that now we have the tools to fight the headaches when they do come. The most important tool is preparation. We take O2, redbull and ice packs everywhere we go. Mike is on a daily dose of sustained release verapamil as a preventative and imitrex injections as an abortive. Just having tools to fight the beast is enough peace of mind to get on with life again. I still remember the feeling of hopelessness I had when i stumbled upon this site, for anyone out there feeling this way right now,,,,,,,I felt like you once ,,,,,,,,, things will get better,,,,,,,,,,,: ) Andy

Oh Andy, that is wonderful news. Thank you for posting it because others who come here desperate, can't see any light at the end of their tunnel and you saying this... gives them hope.

May it continue into infinity, but keep a back-up plan at the ready. ;;D

I'm so glad to hear that and see that hope and even joy in your post, Andy. And it's wonderful that Mike has had PF days! Wonderful!
