I grew up in a great group of 8 friends since junior high school... Even though we come from all different income brackets and our hubbys have alot of different jobs we have still stuck together... One of the girls my friend Deb lost her son to an Oxy Contin overdose on Christmas eve... We are all devistated and I will be attending the wake and funeral over the next few days as well as lending support to my close friends... Hold down the fort and say a prayer that I can hold it together... No mother should ever have to burry her kid... Love to you all ree

Ree,

I truly believe there is a very special place in heaven for parents who have to bury their children, and then have to go on living with the "what if's"

My prayers for them and for you who have to give them your love and support at a time like this.

You are one strong lady Ree, and you will be able to hold it together just fine. At least til you get home. Then lean on Dave and on all of us cause we love you.

Oh Ree.....this is heart breaking. We will keep your friend, you and all those suffering with this tragedy in our prayers. Some things I just don't understand....

Ree, I am so sorry. My thoughts and prayers will be with you and Deb. Stay strong, and know that you have all of our strength behind you too. You know my number if you need to talk. You can hold it together......you are a supporter, they are unbelievably tough!!

My heart is hurting for you and your friends.....sometimes life is just so unfair.

Dear Ree,

Hugs, prayers, and love to you and your friend, Deb. I don't think that this ever gets any easier. I truly believe there is a special place in heaven for the children that God calls home...God's little angels.

I know at times like this when pain is new, the time is too soon, but my aunt lost 3 sons...two to tragic accidents...years apart even. When my skating coach lost her daughter last month, I was thinking about putting her in contact with my aunt if she wanted to talk to another mother who lost children. I still think it is too soon for my coach, Dena, but maybe in time she would like to talk to someone. I would do the same for your friend if she would ever like to talk to another mother who has been through this horror. Please just let me know if you or your friend ever need anything.

Ree, I'm so sorry I missed this. You've had enough trials this past year. Our condolences and prayers are with you.
