I am so sorry.....there has been a train of thought that supporting someone with CH is worse than actually having CH. God bless you, my Wife has been the one to rescue me many time over the last 20 years. After reading your post the pain of my supporters has never been closer, thank you for your post.

Now...GET YOUR MAN TO A NEUROLOGIST! Look here (http://www.clusterheadaches.org/library/general/index.htm) for some of the best CH info out there. Use it, suffering like you witnessed are no longer always an option. Things are getting better...hang in there. Pat the old man on the back for us...tell him I know exactly how it feels...ALL of it!

Hi Lisa is it? You must have edited out your name in one of your posts, but everyone else seems to be calling you that.

That's really strange that it came on so fast like that, as you describe in your first post. My husband usually starts a cycle with one or two random attacks that are never as violent as that. The vomitting is also very uncommon - it does happen, but usually not like you describe. HAS he been diagnosed? Please do get him to a neurologist and give us a description of his symptoms, in other words describe a typical attack for us. We're not doctors but most of us here can recognize a cluster from a mile away. It's scary if you're treating something with meds designed for something else - which could be causing the vomitting.

You're a very good writer, by the way - you really do draw an expressive picture.

I hope you both find relief soon, Lisa - it's horrible watching someone you love be in pain like that.

Hi everyone, sorry I had to delete everything here, I will delete this one soon also. He found my posting and was upset and embarassed so this is just easier. He has been diagnosed. The vomiting is from his meds usually. I wish you all the best of luck. Have a wonderful week.

you're not helping him if you do that, Lisa - you're enabling him.

Sit him down here and SHOW him that there is help available for his pain. Don't let him scare you off one of the best resources available.

Oh, Lisa......Margi is so right!!!!!! Try to get your hubby to use this life saving forum. There is so much knowledge and support here....for both of you. I hate to think where my clusterhead hubby and I would be had we not found this site and the family here....
