Title: Timing....
Post by Mark C on Sep 27th, 2003, 9:38pm
It is bad enough to be awoken at 2 AM by this shit and lose a night a sleep...it has happened to all of us. Today I got hammered at 2 PM at my Son's 8th birthday party...that is just plain fucking mean. I missed about an hour of the party before the meds finally brought it down enough to go back into the party from the car. (We were at a pizza place).

I think missing life is the worst part of this shit...I ain't got time for this....I am a busy man!  ;D

Fighting the good fight!
Mark

I feel for ya. I missed my 8 year-old's BD party back in January same reason. When in cycle I miss out on a lot of events, and so does my family  :'(

I know how that feels. I've missed alot of things because of these damn headaches. My son has to (because dad didn't feel like going anywhere). It does suck. It's part of the CH side effects ... missing out on family and social events. At least it only knocked you out of things for an hour. And I bet your son still had a good birthday...right ? !  :)

Know how you feel Mark -- I missed my son's 30th BD party. And HE didn't understand - mom just had a headache - why couldn't she come?  (mom was chronic and hadn't been out of the house in almost a year at that time, but..... it was ONLY a headache - )....

You're right - it sucks, but you live with it and take the good times when they come.....

Hugs BD

I'm with you Mark.  It sure does make for inconvenience.

Now, get to kicking some beast bootie so that you can get back to your family.

And remember, we're all here for you.

Wow Barbara.  Want to give him my email, or this site's, address so that he can ask questions about CH?  No, come to think of it, you probably don't want him to know much you suffer.  AND THAT MAKES YOU

TOP MOM FOR THE DAY!!!           ;)
